What Vectorizing Actually Means

When we say your content gets "vectorized," we're converting your website pages, pricing sheets, FAQs, and service descriptions into mathematical representations that AI can search by meaning — not just keywords. Each piece of your content becomes a point in a high-dimensional space where similar concepts sit close together.

For example, your "emergency plumbing service" page and your "after-hours repairs" FAQ sit near each other in vector space, even though they use completely different words. When a customer asks "do you come out at night for broken pipes?", the system finds both documents because it understands the meaning, not just the words.

This is powered by Pinecone, a purpose-built vector database. Your content gets split into chunks, each chunk gets embedded into a vector, and those vectors get indexed for millisecond retrieval. When a question comes in, it gets embedded the same way, and the system finds the closest matching chunks from your content.
